Let's build together

At WoRD, we have two big feelings... love and hate.

We love woodworking
. It's super fun to imagine something... and then make it appear in the world using your own hands. We meet people every day who have ideas of things they could build, but maybe not the tools or know-how to make it happen.

We hate waste.
Millions of tonnes of timber gets chucked away every year in the UK. Not only does that have a huge carbon impact, but that's stuff we could be using for woodworking!

We don't just feel these things... we act on them.

We stop timber from going to waste, and use it to teach people to build things - sharing the joy of woodworking, and helping our planet all at the same time.

If you want to learn how to build...

want to get hands on...

and want to reduce waste at the same time...

then let's build something together.
